Research at Rheinsberg
Transforming Tomorrow
Rheinsberg's Division of Research and Economic Development creates a campus environment that supports and promotes superior research, creative, and scholarly pursuits, ensuring our students and faculty can recognize their full intellectual potential.
Research and Innovation
Rheinsberg is a research university that regards the creation of knowledge as one of its fundamental missions. Our faculty and students work at the cutting edge of research in their fields and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and around the world to address society's biggest challenges.
The modern research university has a dual mission that is to educate its students, and to discover new knowledge through scholarship. These two missions enhance and inform one another: students at a research university in many instances are taught by the discoverers of the information being discussed in the course, and the classroom's free exchange of ideas can help sharpen research.
The quality of the research enterprise is what truly distinguishes a great university, permitting it to draw in the most talented scholars and the top students.
Research, scholarship and creative activity are the foundation of our achievements, offering students a university experience that prepares them for leadership roles as scientists, professionals, educators, entrepreneurs and more. Through research and hands-on education, Rheinsberg faculty members transform the lives of our students and our community.
