Our students are provided with a strong business-focused curriculum to prepare for careers in all areas of hospitality and tourism management including event planning, lodging, food studies and beverage management.
At Rheinsberg, Hospitality and Tourism Management is an interdisciplinary degree that ensures a solid business foundation and a grasp of all aspects of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage management, travel and tourism, gaming, recreation, private club management, event and conference planning – and much more. We offer a wide variety of hands-on classes taught by professors with significant experience in the hospitality, tourism, or leisure industry. The Hospitality and Tourism Management Center is equipped with technology-rich computer labs and classrooms; state-of-the-art beverage lab and kitchen spaces; and a professionally-equipped restaurant which gives students both front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house experience.

The University of Rheinsberg's School of Agriculture has a long-standing tradition of agricultural and academic excellence. The School of Agriculture provides students with more than a degree; it gives them a true education through hands-on experiences and its knowledgeable faculty. Students in the School of Agriculture receive a large university education in a small school setting. We extend a warm welcome to the School of Agriculture.
Finding sustainable food and energy sources for billions of people is a massive job. But at the University of Rheinsberg School of Agriculture, it’s our work.
It is the mission of the School of Agriculture to provide educational programs on both the theory and practice of agricultural science enabling the graduate to compete within and contribute to this diverse field at the producer, industry, and graduate student level. This mission is accomplished through degree options in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Plant and Soil Science, and General Agriculture.

Student Learning Outcomes
A student who graduates from the School of Agriculture should be able to:
- Display knowledge of the local, state, and national agriculture industry and education system.
- Perform critical reasoning, perceive assumptions, and make judgments based on the basic principles of animal science, plant and soil science, and agricultural economics.
- Utilize sound decision-making techniques necessary for solving profitable farm and agribusiness management problems.
- Identify prominent agricultural pests with their associated benefits/damages and the current management practices applied.

The field of agriculture includes a very broad range of career objectives. Subject matter fields include plant science, animal science, soil science, horticulture, agricultural engineering, agricultural education, agribusiness management, agribusiness marketing, agricultural economics. Job opportunities are numerous, and students trained in general agriculture are in high demand. A brief list of agricultural positions might include plant breeder, soil scientist, soil conservationist, extension agent, sales representative, agriculture teacher, nursery specialist, landscape designer, greenhouse manager, farmer, nutritionist, animal breeder, economist, forester, processor, food scientist and farm manager. About the School of Public Health and Sciences
Welcome to the University of Rheinsberg's School of Public Health.
At the Rheinsberg's School of Public Health, we are dedicated to promoting health in human populations and preventing disease around the world through innovative research, education, and other health services. We also train the next generation of public health and human sciences professionals in a world in which a lot of current public health graduates is needed to meet the needs of the future. The areas of our programs are further extended to training and education in community and behavioral health, health management and policy, and occupational and environmental health.
The School of Public Health offers Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programs in public health practice, health leadership, health systems and services research, health promotion and prevention research. In the school we consider community-based public health by working with communities and organizations in all phases of health promotion and disease prevention in partnerships with health care scientists in other disciplines, public health practitioners, government agencies, and community-based organizations.
